Krishan Dhawan is an Independent Director of our Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Delhi, and a post graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He was previously associated with Bank of America as a senior vice president and manager of its Asia Banking Unit, Oracle India as managing director, and Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation as the chief executive officer. He is a Director of The Antara Foundation, a non-profit engaged with work in the area of maternal and child health. He joined the Chandrakanta Kesavan Center for Energy Policy and Climate Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur as a governing board member in 2021. Further, he is associated with the Arun Duggal Centre of Excellence for Research in Climate Change and Air Pollution at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi as a member of their Advisory Committee. He was the founding Chair of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry’s Environment, Social and Governance Task Force (2020-22).
