He was part of the core team responsible for starting-up and developing the Accor and InterGlobe hotel development portfolio in India (2004-2010), which consists of over 25 investments across India from Economy to Luxury assets with a total asset value of over USD 1 billion and equity commitments of over USD 450 million.     Manav Thadani is founder and chairman of HVS India and a leading hotel consultant.     Tom Heneghan is chief executive officer of Equity International. He provides strategic direction and oversees all of the Company's activities and investment portfolio.

    Prior to joining Equity International, Mr. Heneghan was chief executive officer of Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. (NYSE:ELS), the leading owner/operator of high-quality manufactured housing resort communities in the United States and British Columbia. Mr. Heneghan was previously chief financial officer at ELS.

    From 1990 to 1995, Mr. Heneghan was with Equity Group Investments (EGI), the privately held investment company founded and led by Sam Zell. At EGI, he held multiple executive-level positions at Zell-related companies including Great American Management and Investments, Inc., a publicly traded holding company with subsidiaries in agricultural chemicals and fertilizers, building products and other manufacturing; Capsure Holdings, Inc., a publicly traded insurance company; and Greenberg & Pociask, LLC, the in-house financial services provider to Zell-affiliated companies.

    Previously, Mr. Heneghan was a financial analyst with Nicor Gas, and he began his career as a staff accountant at Peat Marwick, now part of KPMG.

    Mr. Heneghan is currently co-vice chairman of the ELS Board of Directors, a member of The Real Estate Roundtable, a member of the board of advisors for the Global Real Estate Institute and a member of the Urban Land Institute's Global Exchange Council. He graduated with a BA in Accounting from Augustana College and is a certified public accountant.

    Gaurav Dalmia is co-founder, co-Managing Partner of GTI Capital Group.     Arjun Sharma is Managing Director of Le Passage to India and Tui Travel, the world's largest travel management company. Arjun also developed Select City Walk – one of India's most successful retail malls, located in New Delhi. A travel industry veteran, he has been the Chairman of World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), Chairman of PATA and also co-chairs National Tourism Committee of CII. He is a member of the National Tourism Council.

    Aalok Virmani is a senior vice president with Equity International, primarily responsible for cross-border tax planning and reporting for the Company and its portfolio. He is also a director of SAMHI Hotels, EI's first investment in India.

    Prior to joining Equity International in 2008, Mr. Virmani spent nine years at KPMG working in the M&A, international, and state and local tax practices. He focused on structuring mergers and acquisitions, establishing and capitalizing foreign operations, repatriating foreign earnings, and also managed numerous tax due diligence reviews with deal sizes exceeding $5 billion. While at KPMG, Mr. Virmani worked on the tax structuring and monetization of a number of investments for EI.

    Mr. Virmani has presented at various private equity and tax seminars including Financial Research Associates (FRA), the Tax Executive Institute (TEI), the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the Council for International Tax Education (CITE) and the Alliance for Tax, Legal & Accounting Seminars (ATLAS), among others. He earned a BS in accounting and a JD from the University of Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois Bar and admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court. He is also a certified public accountant.

    Amit is an Investment Director with GTI Capital advising on India-based investments and has 16 years of investment, investment banking and business advisory experience. Over the past 8 years, he has been leading investment teams and advising on India-based investments across a wide range of sectors & across various stages. Earlier, he was leading the investment team at Elephant India, advisor to Elephant Capital - an India-focused listed private equity fund.

    Amit has been involved in investments in more than 10 companies. Some of the companies where he has invested include aviation MRO, auto-components, financial services, cold-chain logistics, edutainment, sports & media.

    Both at GTI and Elephant, Amit was the first executive recruited, tasked with assembling the teams, building and running the India businesses. He leads the deal-making effort, is deeply involved in deal origination, transaction structuring and oversees transaction execution.

    Amit's prior experience includes working for Ernst & Young's and DSP Merrill Lynch's Investment Banking practices from 2000-2007, where he successfully advised a number of companies on acquisitions, divestitures & capital raising for transactions aggregating ~US$ 500 million. Earlier in his career, he served as a consultant in Audit and Business Advisory Group at A F Ferguson (now a member firm of Deloitte).

    Amit is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a bachelor's degree from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
